My Teaching Practice.
Students will learn the language in two different ways. One is similar, but not identical, to the way children develop ability in their first language, and the other is conscious knowledge of the rules and grammar.
Coming prepared to class
Students always need to bring their text books and Ipads to class, and their composition books to take notes.
Homework
I assign homework weekly, and it is due at the beginning of the week. I don't give credit for incomplate work. Students need to to make corrections to their work if it is incorrect in order to have credit.
Grades
I update grades on AERIES every 2 or 3 weeks. I add points for homework and classwork to summit them on AERIES. If you have an specific concern about your student; you may request a weekly progress report or send me an email.
Tutorial
I suggest you to have a conversation with your son/daughter about the things he /she is doing in order to be succesful in my class if she/he has a C or lower grade. They must use tutorial if they are not doing well, and work with me or a peer tutor.
Please request a conference or send me an email right away if your son/daughter doesn't improve his/her grade.
